As interstate removalists specialising in container removals, we are often asked if we can move people within the same city (or a short distance). 

The answer, unfortunately, is no. Our self pack container removals system is designed to use rail as the primary mode of transporting our moving containers and our system is not suited to short distance relocations.

If you are moving within the same city but require storage between locations, we recommend that you rent a truck and use a self storage facility. This would be a much cheaper option than relocating a moving container a short distance.

Another idea is to use a company that delivers a storage container (not usually a shipping container), which you can pack at your home and then have transferred to their storage facility. An example of this is Qube Storage in Perth
